Felt good enough tonight to assemble the scope/tripod, and later took it out for a quick "First Light". I'm impressed!
![]() Some things as expected, others far better than expected...and, of course, there are several things that need some work before the scope can really perform to it's capabilities. I'll do a proper review on it all asap, but will say I had a nice crisp view of Saturn w/rings at 29x. This little scope and I are going to have some serious fun together... ![]() Mike

Hey Dizz, I'm late here, but I'm glad to see you got something you can just bop around with. Man, it was made for my EQ-2 mount! I'm with Vin, though, wanting to see it atop that Sirius mount. I wouldn't be surprised if you find yourself going out the door more often with that scope on a small mount.
I have an old Sears 60mm, f11 scope that I thought about getting some rings for. Only drawback is mine uses 0.965" eyepieces--yuk. I have two. Actually the optics are pretty good, though. It also has a mount like yours. I could never make peace with that mount. So, I oughta get it on the EQ-2 if I'm ever gonna really use it. Have fun there, Bro!
